The black box will not be visible in a commit in the near future, so just ignore it and you can bind your gceux. Then I tried xjoypad, but it just wasn't very user friendly to set up. I have the enable full-screen option checked in gfceux, as well as the auto-scale and open-gl boxes. The primary configuration file is "fceux. Don't expect an immediate response, but someone will get around to assisting you probably me.

I fcux, open GL is disabled in fceux options.

This is on ubuntu The best settings seem to be to render to a smaller resolution like x and have it stretch to fit the screen, but it's still not perfect.
